How Trillitask works
Trillitask reads the email you connect, turns what needs you into short cards on Today, and answers to plain English in the ask bar.
Trillitask is a personal assistant. You connect your email, and it does the sorting for you: anything that needs you becomes a short card on Today, receipts and newsletters are filed quietly, and scams are flagged. You talk to it in plain English, by typing, by voice, or by text message.
The pieces
- Today is your home page: what needs you, what’s on today, what’s coming up, and a short briefing about your day.
- The ask bar sits at the bottom of every page. Type to find things, or press Enter to ask or tell Trillitask something, like “remind me Friday to call Mom”.
- Chat is the full-size conversation with the assistant, with your past conversations on the left.
- Earpiece speaks discreet alerts out loud while you work.
- Plans is where you make plans with friends, build a step-by-step plan for something big, and share your booking link.
- Calendar holds your appointments, deadlines and reminders.
- Lists are for things that aren’t for today, like a grocery list or a honey-do list. Family can add to them without an account.
Under Apps in the sidebar you’ll also find Budget, Desk and Notes, separate Trillitask apps that use the same sign-in.
What happens to your email
Trillitask checks your connected mailboxes every few minutes. Each new message is read and summarized, then:
- If it needs you (a question, a deadline, a bill to pay), it becomes a card on Today.
- If it’s worth knowing but needs nothing, it shows as a grayed “FYI” card at the end of Today.
- If it’s noise, a receipt or a newsletter, it’s filed without a card. You can still glance at it under Skipped.
- Replies on the same conversation join the existing card instead of making new ones.
Connecting email is optional. Trillitask still works as a to-do list, calendar and assistant without it.
