Share a private link to add to a list
Make a link anyone can open to add items to your list. No account, no app, no phone number needed.
Included on every plan
- Open Lists, pick the list, and click the share icon.
- Under By link, click Create share link.
- Click Copy and send the link to whoever should be able to add to the list.
When they open it, they see a simple page: Add to “Groceries”. They type the item (and, if they like, their name) and tap Add to list. Their name is remembered for next time, and it shows on the item as Added by.
They can bookmark the page or add it to their home screen for one-tap adding.
Turn it off
Click Turn off to stop the link working. If you create a link again later, it’s a brand-new address, so the old one stays dead. Archiving the list pauses the link; unarchiving brings the same link back.
Anyone with the link can add to the list, so share it only with people you trust. They can’t see or change what’s already on it.
