Payday and bill check-ins

One-tap cards that confirm your paycheck and bills, and help you save any extra.

On the day a paycheck or bill is expected, a card appears at the top of Home.

Paychecks

“Your Paycheck is expected today. Is it $1,450?”

  • Yes, $1,450 confirms it.
  • It’s different lets you enter what actually came in.
  • Not this time skips it.

If it was more than expected, Budget offers to put the extra somewhere useful: Move it to savings, add it to one of your funds, or Keep it in checking.

After a payday, if there’s room, you’ll see You can save $X today: the amount you can move to savings while every bill until your next payday stays covered. Tap Move $X to savings to record it, then make the same transfer at your bank.

Bills

For bills that aren’t on autopay: “Electric ($84) is due today. Paid?”

  • Yes, paid marks it paid.
  • Different amount appears for bills whose amount changes.
  • Not yet hides the card until tomorrow. The bill stays in your forecast, and the card asks again the next day.
  • Skip this one takes this payment out of your forecast, for when it isn’t happening this time.

Paying it on a different day? Ask the advisor: “move the electric bill to Friday.”

Savings

On the day a savings rule is due: “Time to move $100 for Pay yourself first. Done?” Make the transfer at your bank, then tap Yes, moved it. Your savings account (and the fund it fills) goes up and checking goes down. Not yet and Skip this one work like they do for bills.

Autopay bills never ask; your next statement confirms them. A one-off bigger or smaller paycheck doesn’t change the usual amount. If your pay has changed for good, tell the advisor.
