Add pictures and screenshots

Paste a screenshot, drop an image onto the page, or use the image button.

Three ways to add a picture:

  • Paste a screenshot straight from your clipboard (Ctrl/Cmd + V).
  • Drag image files onto the note.
  • Click the image button in the toolbar and choose one or more pictures.

The picture appears right away and finishes uploading in the background. Images can be JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF or HEIC, up to 15 MB each.

Text inside pictures isn’t searchable. Add a line of description if you’ll want to find it later.

Pictures count toward your notes storage, along with the text of your notes. A picture you use in more than one note counts once. If your storage is full, new pictures aren’t added.

There’s no save button. Notes save a moment after you stop typing, and you’re warned if you try to leave mid-save.
